Metallica Promo Leads To Legal Conflict
Metallica is once again ready to defend their name. TMZ.com reports that the band has filed a cease-and-desist order against Fernades Guitars of North Hollywood. The company had reportedly been using bassist Robert Trujillo and the Metallica name in advertising. Trujillo had an existing promotional deal with Fernades in which they gave him a group of custom bass guitars, but Metallica has their own promo deal with ESP Guitars that led to the conflict. |
