Quick Bites
Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift are on the new compilation album "Princess Disneymania Volume 1." Carrie sings "So This is Love" from "Cinderella" and Taylor contributes "Home" from "Beauty and the Beast." They are the only country artists on the project, which will be released today. Kellie Pickler continues promoting her sophomore album with an appearance this morning on NBC's "Today." CMA Female Vocalist of the Year nominee Carrie Underwood's "Carnival Ride" shows no signs of stopping. That's because her record label is releasing a premium version of Underwood's "Carnival Ride" album just in time for the holiday shopping season. The extended album contains five new holiday bonus tracks. It will be available exclusively through Wal-Mart beginning October 21st. Saturday Night Live alum Victoria Jackson is joining Kix Brooks of Brooks and Dunn fame for the 15th annual "Laughter for the Children" charity event. Proceeds will benefit at-risk youth between the ages of 16 and 24 who reside at Monroe Harding's campus in Nashville. Tickets for the November 15th show in Franklin, Tennessee are 85-dollars each or 600-dollars for a table of eight. They're available online at www.laughterforthechildren.com.
