James Taylor Releases Covers Album
James Taylor has a new CD of old material in stores. Billboard.com says "Covers" feature the veteran singer-songwriter's renditions of songs from the 1950s, '60s, and '70s. Tracks include "Hound Dog," Leonard Cohen's "Suzanne," "Summertime Blues," and "Wichita Lineman." Fans who caught Taylor in concert over summer received an album preview of sorts, as he and his band worked some of these tunes into their sets. "Covers" is Taylor's first studio effort since "October Road," which was released back in 2002.
