Britney Spears Planning 2009 Tour
Britney Spears is mapping out her road to comeback with plans for a musical road trip. The pop star told New York radio station Z100 on Monday that she definitely plans to tour next year in support of her forthcoming album "Circus." The outing will mark Spears' first international tour since 2004. The singer performed a handful of one-off club shows last year, but did not tour to promote her last album "Blackout." Her last live public performance at last year's MTV Video Music Awards was widely criticized, but Spears returned to the annual awards ceremony a few weeks ago a winner, leaving the ceremony with three awards for her song "Piece Of Me." Spears' latest single "Womanizer" is the first single of her new album "Circus," which will be released on December 2nd -- her 27th birthday. The singer told the radio station Monday that she spent six months working on the album. |
