Jack's Mannequin Finds Resolution In The Twilight
Jack's Mannequin is now previewing their video for "The Resolution" online, and the clip is getting plenty of buzz due to its buzzworthy director. Singer Andrew McMahon turned over the clip to first-time director Stephenie Meyer, who is best known as the author for the popular book "Twilight." He says he knew Stephenie would be able to bring something more than the norm to the video.
The vocalist says they received treatments from a number of directors, but nothing really seemed right so they decided to take a different direction. He says he threw the idea of using Stephenie onto the table after she referenced his band in her writing. McMahon adds the shoot was an enjoyable one, as he's a fan of the beach but he does admit having to take a dive in the ocean with his clothes on was a difficult thing to do. |
