Shinedown Share Documentary Moment
Shinedown has a special relationship with their fans, and one of those relationships is being explored in a new documentary called "Blindsided." The HBO Family documentary tells the story of Jared Hara, a teen who when he was eleven learned that he had Leber's Optic Neuropathy which eventually led to his going blind. The film explores his journey as he began to give up the things he loved like hockey. But after the loss of hockey, Hara found a new love in guitar. When Shinedown came to town, Hara's father arranged a visit and the band made it something he'll always remember. Jared got to jam with the band's lead guitarist on their bus, and was later surprised when the group invited him out to play onstage in front of thousands of people. The "Blindsided" documentary airs October 10th at 7:15 p.m. Eastern on HBO and October 14th at 9 p.m. Eastern on HBO Family. Check the listings for future airings. |
