Springsteen And Joel In Concert With Obama Campaign
Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel are teaming up to back Barack. A spokesperson for Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama tells E! News that the veteran rockers will perform their first-ever joint concert to serve as a fundraiser for Obama. The event is scheduled to take place October 16th at New York City's Hammerstein Ballroom. It will follow the Illinois Senator's final debate with Republican presidential rival John McCain at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York. An Obama campaign spokesman says Obama plans to be at the show. Tickets for the concert start at 500-dollars. Premiere seats will cost supporters 25-hundred-dollars each, while exclusive "lounge" seats are up for grabs at ten-thousand-dollars a seat. |
