Alice Cooper Continues To Push Censorship Buttons
After more than 30 years of rock and roll, Alice Cooper continues to push the censorship envelope. The CBS network staff were astounded Monday night when the 60-year-old rocker took an audience member to play a "murder victim" during his performance on "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson." While performing his song "Vengeance is Mine," Cooper picked a female audience member and fake choked her with a silk scarf. The stunt was meant to coincide with his new album "Along Came A Spider," which tells the story of a serial killer. The CBS network chose to cut the most graphic parts of the performance from the show, leaving viewers with a much tamer version. "Late Late Show" host Craig Ferguson, reportedly "loved" the act. |
