Gary Glitter Banned From Spain And France
Former pop star and pedophile Gary Glitter won't be travelling though Europe anytime soon. The BBC News reports Glitter, whose real name is Paul Gadd, has been denied travel privileges from England to Spain via France because he is listed on the sex offenders registry. At the request of Kent police last Thursday, a judge in England's town of Ashford granted the travel ban on 64-year-old. Glitter was forced to submit a request to travel seven days in advance of his leaving.
The travel ban comes on the heels of Glitter's 27-month jail sentence in Vietnam where he was accused of abusing two girls. He has been on the sex offenders register for seven years after being caught in possession of child abuse images. |
