Barry Manilow Spreads Music Love With Instrumental Donations
Amid the glitz and glamour of a new Las Vegas show, Barry Manilow is spreading the joy of music with his instrumental donations. According to "Entertainment Tonight," the veteran singer launched his Manilow Music Project on Monday with the donation of 300 instruments to 20 middle and high schools. The project, which benefited the Palm Springs, Coachella Valley and Desert Sands Unified School Districts, is an offshoot of Manilow's Health and Hope Fund.
Meanwhile, Manilow continues to shine in the world of showbiz. He kicked off his new Vegas show "Ultimate Manilow: The Hits" last weekend, featuring hit songs such as "Copacabana" and "Mandy." Manilow tells "ET" the new show has a lot of Vegas-esque styles to it which makes it look, quote, "pretty awesome." The show is playing at the Las Vegas Hilton through December 30th. |
