In 1982 The Clash song "Rock The Casbah" debuted in the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart at number 90. The song eventually climbed into the Top 10. In 1988 U2 released the album "Rattle and Hum." In 1995 Alanis Morissette's debut album "Jagged Little Pill" hit number one on the Billboard 200 album chart. In 1998 Cheap Trick was inducted into Hollywood's Rockwalk. In 2001 Stone Temple Pilots, Moby, Alanis Morissette, Dave Matthews, and Lou Reed were among those who participated in the tribute concert "Come Together: A Night for John Lennon's Words & Music, Dedicated to New York City & Its People" at New York's Radio City Music Hall. In 2002 3 Doors Down launched a USO tour, performing for U.S. troops at various bases overseas. In 2003 Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx sued the shoe maker Vans, claiming the company used his image in an ad without permission. In 2007 Morrissey's ten-night residency at the Hollywood Palladium was interrupted when a water main ruptured at the venue, forcing him to miss two shows.
