Stephenie Myer's Infinite Playlist
Stephenie Meyer is an author often influenced and inspired by the music she's listening to, and there was definitely a play list that kept her going while writing the popular book "Twilight." Meyer says, quote, "I can't write without music. This, combined with the fact that writing 'Twilight' was a very visual, movie-like experience, prompted me to collect my favorite Twilight songs into a sort of soundtrack for the book." The author says that the list is "not chiseled in granite" and transforms over time, but the songs she hears while reading the book include Travis' "Why Does It Always Rain On Me?," My Chemical Romance's "I'm Not Okay (I Promise)," Radiohead's "Creep," and Billy Joel's "Lullaby (Goodnight, My Angel)." It is not known how many of the tracks will appear on the official soundtrack when it arrives November 4th. Fans are already being treated to Paramore's original track "Decode," which the author posted at her website earlier this week. |
