Cypress Hill Returns
Sen Dog is using a break in Cypress Hill's schedule to release his "Diary Of A Mad Dog" solo album this week, but the rapper says his group is getting ready to record again. According to Sen Dog, the group has 30 songs done for the new disc and is working out details for a new release. The rapper tells Billboard.com, quote, "It's definitely hardcore hip-hip. I wouldn't say it's overly hardcore, but it's definitely a hip-hop album." Sen Dog says the collection will include writing and production collaborations with Tom Morello on a song called "Rise Up" and with Mike Shinoda on a still-untitled cut. Slash also turns up lending guitar licks to the track "Front Line." The rapper also revealed that he's reactivated SX-10 for a new record as well. His longtime rap and rock project will issue their fourth album early next year. |
