Hank Junior's Daughter To Visit Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum
Hank Williams Jr's daughter Holly is definitely carrying on the family tradition. The 27-year-old artist will visit Nashville's Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum Saturday as part of the ongoing "Family Tradition: The Williams Family Legacy" exhibit. Williams will offer an intimate performance and an interview in the museum's Ford Theater. Her father's rigorous touring schedule took a toll on her family, and Holly's parents separated when she was three. She and her sister Hilary moved to Nashville with their mother. Holly says she gave the family musical tradition little thought until she picked up a guitar one day when she was 17 and wrote three songs. Williams penned all of the songs on her critically acclaimed 2004 debut album "The Ones We Knew." Her sophomore project was derailed by a near-fatal car accident in March of 2005. She's now fully recovered. Her second album is slated for release by MCA in 2009. |
