Jury Selection Begins In Phil Spector Retrial
Jury selection is underway in the second trial of music legend Phil Spector. The producer is accused of killing actress Lana Clarkson in his Alhambra, California home in 2003. Spectors' attorney Doran Weinberg says prosecutors will again use testimony from women who say Spector pulled a gun on them. He says the fundamental truth about the case is that the forensic and physical evidence not only fails to establish that Spector killed Lana Spector, it points the other way. He says the prosecution has had to find other ways to get a jury to look unfavorably upon Spector. About 300 jurors will fill out questionnaires. |
