Rep: Natalie Cole Out Of Hospital, On Bed Rest
Natalie Cole is back home following a hospital stay last month. The singer's rep confirmed that 58-year-old Cole has returned to her residence, but noted the Grammy winner is still on bed rest for now. Cole was hospitalized in New York two weeks ago due to complications from Hepatitis C. The singer's spokesperson said the disease has been brought "under control." However, Cole has been undergoing kidney dialysis that is unrelated to the Hepatitis C. Cole cancelled all scheduled performance dates in October, but is still considering getting back on stage in November.
Natalie Cole, the daughter of late singing legend Nat King Cole, was diagnosed with Hepatitis C in April of this year. Doctors believe she contracted the disease 25 years ago during her battle with drug addiction. |
