"American Idol's" LaKisha Jones Gets Hitched
Wedding bells rang on Sunday for "American Idol" star LaKisha Jones. According to "People" magazine, many of the singer's season-six "Idol" castmates attended the Beverly Wilshire Hotel ceremony where she tied the knot with financial advisor Larry Davis. Donned in a strapless Alfred Angelo gown, Jones kissed her new husband for more than ten seconds when the minister pronounced them man and wife. Before the wedding, Jones told "People" she made most of the arrangements over the phone from her Houston home. She said, quote, "I am hoping and praying it's going to be fabulous." The newlyweds plan on heading to Barbados for their honeymoon. LaKisha is also slated to drop her yet-untitled debut album at the end of this month. |
