Innerpartysystem Start In With "Don't Stop"
Innerpartysystem is breaking on the scene with the new single "Don't Stop," a track that has reality TV and celebrity culture clearly in its sights. Drummer Jared Piccone says money wasn't really needed for the desired effect of the music video.
Piccone adds that the song is not so much about trashing what makes up TV programming today, as it is a track born out of the band's frustration with whether or not it was worth it to get cable. Piccone says the message has a lot to do with people's obsession with television in general. The band made their own eye-grabbing video for the song. Singer Patrick Nissley says part of the clip was filmed in the basement of the group's house while the rest was done with friends at a local cable access studio. The clip recently garnered the attention of Emergency Broadcast Network, who has since made a remix widget in which fans can rework the video to their liking. |
