Oasis Hopes To Jet
Oasis, perhaps tiring of years of troubles with airlines, is looking into purchasing their own Lear jet. Guitarist Noel Gallagher says on the band's blog, quote, "We're making serious inquiries as to how much one of these private jets would cost. We think with a bit of creative accounting we could probably afford one." The group is also bandying about names for the potential ride, and Gallagher jokes that given the current economy, the plane may be called "The Credit Crunch." |
