Lady Antebellum Thrilled With CMA Win
The members of Lady Antebellum say they're shocked and elated to be named the CMA New Artist of the Year. The trio's Hillary Scott notes that just being part of the show was all the recognition they expected -- and they were thrilled at the opportunity to play a song during the ceremony.
Lady Antebellum add that receiving their first CMA Award is a great motivator, and not necessarily confirmation to them that they've made it. Scott explains that with the acknowledgement, she and her band mates now are even more driven to build on their success and win over more fans. The 42nd annual CMA Awards were presented in a ceremony in Nashville Wednesday night. |
