Juanes To Sing With John Legend For Latin Grammy Performance
Latin pop singer Juanes is teaming up with R&B star John Legend this evening for the 9th Annual Latin Grammy Awards. The "Houston Chronicle" reports Juanes is the winner of a dozen Latin Grammys and has five nods going into tonight's ceremony at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. Other artists set to take the stage include Gloria Estefan, Jose Feliciano and Carlos Santana. Estefan has been named the 2008 Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year. Former Miss Universe Barbara Palacios is hosting the ceremony which awards trophies in 30 Latin Grammy categories. Each award honors the best in Latin Music released between July 1st, 2007 and June 30, 2008. The "9th Annual Latin Grammy Awards" air tonight on Univision starting at 8:00 pm Eastern. |
