Hoppus Offers Barker Update
Plus 44 is taking a break at the moment while drummer Travis Barker heals from the horrific plane crash earlier this year. Mark Hoppus tells MTV.com that Barker is doing as well as anyone can under such awful circumstances and that the drummer is already itching to return to his kit and the studio. The vocalist adds that Barker is one of the most musically driven people he knows. Hoppus says he's been writing plenty of material lately and will be prepared when the band is ready to start again, which may not be long from now. He says Barker is, quote, "healing very quickly. The doctors are saying that his body is really healing in a positive way. So, hopefully, in the next couple of months we'll see him behind the kit, I pray. No matter what I work on, Travis will be part of, for sure." |
