Razorlight's Borrell Takes A Beating
Razorlight leader Johnny Borrell feels that his public persona is getting in the way of reviews for his band's latest album. The band is promoting their latest effort, "Slipway Fires," in the UK, but Borrell says he's not paying attention to the middling reviews because he doesn't think critics are giving it a fair chance. He tells "The Daily Star," quote, "If I go to a gig and see a band I don't like, at least I can be objective, but it seems people want to believe the crap that's written about me. But the haters aren't going to win." The vocalist also revealed that he has no intentions of doing a solo album and intends on remaining with his group for the long haul. |
