Miley Cyrus Goes "Thriller" For New Music Video
Miley Cyrus is putting her own spin on Michael Jackson's groundbreaking "Thriller" video. Philip Andelman, the director behind Cyrus' new "Fly on the Wall" music video, tells MTV the clip is a spoof of "Thriller" that uses the paparazzi as Cyrus' worst nightmare rather than the zombies seen in the original video. He says the story revolves around Cyrus being on a date with her boyfriend who suddenly falls ill and turns into a paparazzo who chases the singer. Just as Jackson becomes surrounded by zombies in "Thriller," Cyrus finds herself in the middle of hounding paparazzi with nowhere to turn. Andelman recently wrapped up filming the video for the Jonas Brothers' new hit "Love Bug." "Fly On the Wall" is featured on Cyrus' most recent album, "Breakout." The Disney star told MTV in a previous interview the song is about how the media think they know everything about her when they don't. She adds, quote, "They want to be a fly on my wall and watch me 24/7."
