Coldplay Would Open
Coldplay may be one of the biggest bands in the world, but they're ready to cede top billing if the right opportunity came along. Singer Chris Martin says in a recent Q&A at the band's website that while they are putting together their next headlining trek, they would offer to open shows for certain acts -- such as Oasis. Martin says, quote, "It would be a great double bill. And we wouldn't mind opening. I would also, funnily enough, open for Take That." The vocalist says he and the group found themselves recently singing Take That's "Back For Good" note for note without having learned the song at all, and he adds that he would like to make the public declaration that Coldplay would open for them if they wanted to perform together again. |
