Hooked On 'Phonics
Stereophonics is back in record stores with some familiar material. "Decade In The Sun" is the band's greatest hits collection, and with it is the opportunity to revisit some of the group's classic material on the road. Guitarist Richard Jones says he and his band mates liked going back and revisiting some of the their older tracks.
Singer Kelly Jones says he's happy to reach this point in his career because it means Stereophonics is truly understanding the songs a lot better. He says the band has reached the saturation point on certain tracks, tested them out in various styles and pacing, and is now back at the original versions -- and they understand what made them click with fans in the first place. Stereophonics' best-of collection "Decade In The Sun" is in stores now. |
