Metallica Plans 2011 Stage Show
Metallica's manager Peter Mensch is tipping his hat about the band's future plans. In an exclusive interview with "Classic Rock," Mensch said that fans can look forward to a tour in 2011. Regarding the trek next year, Mensch said that Metallica plans to draw inspiration from the spectacle and imagery of Pink Floyd. Mensch said, quote, "They will only play in ten cities, but it will be a huge undertaking. It will be Metallica's equivalent of 'The Wall.'"
In the meantime, Metallica continues its World Magnetic Tour 2010. The metal band's off to Scandinavia next with two dates at Oslo, Norway's Telenor Arena on April 13th and 14th.
