Love And Theft will be helping NASCAR honor their own. The group is slated to perform at the special grand opening ceremony for the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, North Carolina. The day-long event will include an Opening Ceremony followed by meet and greets and Q-and-A sessions with NASCAR stars and other activities. Love And Theft will cap off the gala with a free concert at Ceremonial Plaza. The NASCAR Hall of Fame grand opening celebration is set for May 11th.
The late Keith Whitley, John Michael Montgomery, Steve Wariner, and Patty Loveless are slated to be honored by their home state. They've been selected for induction into the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame. The Goins Brothers, Molly O'Day and, Larnelle Harris have also been chose for the distinction. But their honor won't be official right away. The performers are the Kentucky Music Hall's Class of 2011, and the induction ceremony will take place at the Lexington Center Bluegrass Ballroom in Lexington, Kentucky on April 7, 2011. |
