Reba To Host Celebrity Fight Night
Reba McEntire will be on hand for this weekend's Celebrity Fight Night. She's once again serving as emcee, marking her fifth time hosting the charitable event. The country star will also perform at the gala, while the Eagles' Glenn Frey has been tapped as the headlining act. Other artists slated to entertain include R&B great Sam Moore, former "American Idol" finalist Michael Johns, and comedienne Melissa Peterman -- McEntire's co-star on the sitcom "Reba." "American Idol" judge Randy Jackson will introduce Muhammad Ali during the ceremony, which supports a variety of causes and organizations including the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center at Barrow Neurological Institute. The 16th Annual Celebrity Fight Night will take place Saturday night at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort and Spa in Phoenix, Arizona.
This year's honorees are racecar driver Danica Patrick, who'll receive the the Muhammad Ali Sports Achievement Award; film producer Jerry Weintraub, who'll be honored with the Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Award; and businessman and philanthropist Walter Scott, Jr., who is this year's recipient of the Muhammad Ali Business Leadership Award. |
