Numerous Stars To Perform New Year's Eve Concerts Across America
A host of stars will be ringing in 2012 Saturday night with concerts across the country. Partiers in Las Vegas have the option of seeing Guns N' Roses, Stevie Wonder, or The Platters. The Beach Boys featuring Mike Love are in Lincoln, California, while Gloria Gaynor, Sister Sledge, and Maxine Nightingale lead the lineup for the New Year's Disco Eve event in St. Petersburg, Florida. Dr. John is celebrating on stage in his hometown of New Orleans.
The New York Dolls are in Boston, Gladys Knight is in Atlantic City, and Gov't Mule and Patti Smith are playing separate shows in New York City. Meanwhile, Gregg Allman is performing with Buddy Guy in Newkirk, Ohio, and Yoko Ono is joining The Flaming Lips for a show in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Little Feat, REO Speedwagon, and Levon Helm will also entertain crowds on New Year's Eve, along with George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic. B.B. King, Booker T., and Wanda Jackson.
